Aaron Shapiro

Aaron Shapiro is a Professional Arena Host for the NHL Florida Panthers and is a master of his craft. Emceeing at nightclubs like Blue Martin, Brickyard in Wynwood, and various South Florida hotspots. The former dancer/comedian, he uses his past experience to make him one of the top emcees in South Florida. Whether he is turning up a wedding, mitzvah, or private party, Aaron stands above the competition (literally, he is 6’6”).

Aaron Shapiro grew up in South Florida. A star athlete, he competed in multiple sports, excelling in basketball, eventually playing college basketball. After his athletic career ended, Aaron became a full-time student and started utilizing his outgoing personality by emceeing small talent shows at Florida Atlantic University. Around the same time, he enrolled in comedy classes at the Hard Rock Improv taking: Standup Comedy 101, 202, and Professional Emceeing 101. At the end of each class he performed at the Hard Rock Improv in front of a live audiences ranging from 50-75 people. Aaron has performed in shows in South Florida and New York as the comic, emcee, and producer.

It was during this developmental stage that Aaron’s talent surfaced. His family realized that he was a born natural Emcee and Host. A year later, he worked his way up becoming the Arena Host for Florida Atlantic, hyping up the crowd and energizing fans out of their seats. His most famed moment arrived in 2014 when he rocked FAU’s sold out stadium of 32,000 fans in the FAU vs UM game.

During his tenure as FAU’s Arena Host, he emceed concerts, opening up for Redman and Method man and B.o.B. Every campus banquet feature Aaron as the emcee, Hosting and Moderating the 2nd Annual Basketball Banquet with NBA legend Doug Collins. And is talents were sought after for every campus event when they needed to take the energy of the crowd to new heights.

After earning his Master’s degree in Communication and Multimedia with Minor in business, he earned the prestigious position as the Florida Panthers Arena Host for the NHL team. Rocking out the building all season with over 20,000 fans in attendance nightly.

Outside of the entertainment industry, Aaron is a college professor teaching public speaking and multimedia studies at Miami Dade College. Using his professional and academic experience, he has worked with athlete, politician, and local entrepreneurs coaching them to become skill public speakers for pitch presentations, interviews, and negotiators.

He also volunteers his time by going to local high school to teaching communication skills and competence working tirelessly to empower youth education efforts. His time spent not working is time spent volunteering and building the community.
